Скульптор. Создатель портретов многих видных американцев. К его работам относятся скульптурные портреты Д. Уэбстера [Webster, Daniel], установленный на террасе здания Законодательного собрания штата Массачусетс в г. Бостоне [Boston State House] (1859), а также скульптуры Б. Франклина [Franklin, Benjamin] и Т. Джефферсона [Jefferson, Thomas] в Капитолии [Capitol] (1863)
